Helios rules,
uncovering all,

forever changing the game;
The land of your people,
contours of infinite beauty,

generosity and spirit;
Joined by melodies of music and light,
resulting in the Cretan synthesis

Where languages
accent the morning area;
Children, adults
conversing in daily rhythm

Sunlight brightening the present,
Unlike the past;
Seekers from the north relaxing, absorbing the south

Teenage bucks,
frolicking, trying to impress;
Crossed signals
in the land of Ariadne and Zeus

Μπήκαμε στο σπήλαιο,
με και χωρίς παρωπίδες..
Μας την έφεραν,
ιός και πανδημία
 
Ηγέτες,
σοφοί και άσχετοι,
(στερνή μου γνώση να σ’είχα πρώτα),
αποτελέσματα θετικά και καταστρεπτικά
το τέλος μακαρίζει

Ασιγούρευτο μέλλον,
ουσία με χαμένη πυξίδα
Η ευθεία γεμάτη παρακάμψεις,
ισορροπία ταραγμένη


We entered the cave
with and without blinders;
Then they hit us,
virus and pandemic

Leaders,
the wise and the irrelevant
(who are you kidding?);
Positive and catastrophic results,
the end will tell

Uncertain future,
substance without compass;
Road full of detours,
turbulent balance

Caveat emptor,
