My quest is the brainchild of loving family members, who encouraged me to start blogging my experiences as a disabled traveler, combined with my narratives, poetry, music, and articles of interest.. Having been diagnosed with retinal degeneration ten years ago, my travels entered a new dimension, where other senses became more enhanced, and vastly reduced sight was used to scrutinize many before unnoticed details. The poetry and music reflect a life’s mosaic of decades.

My worsening eyesight has given me more vision. Ironic?
Ten years ago, I noticed that my nighttime vision was worsening. Several months later, I was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa… my peripheral vision is greatly reduced, and I am legally blind.
If I had allowed my condition to take over my mental outlook, I would be in a psychiatric ward. How many people do I know who suffer from other ailments, who are constantly neurotic and complaining? Quite a few. I have changed, in that I have no patience for these people and their complaints. Life is too short to bathe in negativity.
In the past ten years, I have re-embarked with my lovely wife and friend on a journey of Life, encompassing travel, meeting people, composing music and poetry. The results have been greatly rewarding.
My website is but a small portal, as is my vision; hopefully, it will leave with you the spirit of life, enveloped in the aura of positivity.
